Team Web Stores
Overview:
As part of our store website, we have an online service that allows teams, leagues, and booster clubs to create online Team Stores. These stores allow consumers to purchase specific items for their sport or event. Typically, each online store is open for a two week buying period. All you need to do is pick your items and WSG will do the rest!
Cost:
There is absolutely no cost to you to set up or maintain the Team Store. We set up the store, list the items for sale, produce and then deliver the items to the customer.
Items:
Wayne Sporting Goods will work with you to pick out the items that will be listed in each online store. Typically we like to list 4-6 items per sport. This amount allows variety but ensures a uniform look for your team, league, or booster club. You can choose between embroidery and screen printed items. Embroidery is typically easiest and fastest turnaround because there are no minimums!
Reporting:
We are able to print reports for you at the end of your buying period. These reports, which can be generated for a specific date range, show quantity sold and are sorted by item.
Fundraising:
The online store is a quick and easy way to generate extra income for the school or team. After an item is picked for inclusion in the Online Store, we will set our price. You can then add onto this amount. For example, an embroidered hooded sweatshirt may cost $25 each. You then can add $2, $3, $5 per sweatshirt to raise extra money. If you add $5 per sweatshirt, the item would be listed for $30 in the store and you would make $5 per item sold. At the end of the buying period, we would add up your proceeds and cut a check to the school/league.
Payment:
Customers will pay directly through our secure website. After all items are selected, the customer will checkout and be able to pay online with their credit card. An email confirmation will be sent directly to the customer outlining the details of their purchase. This process eliminates the coaches/parents from taking orders and figuring out who has paid. The best part of having a team store is that it is open 24 hours a day during your buying period so even the busiest parents will have time to order!
Delivery:
WSG will deliver all items within two to three weeks after the end of the buying period. During checkout, customers have the option of getting their order shipped directly to their home for an additional cost, picking the item up in the Athletic Office for free or picking the order up at our store for free.
