Our streamlined process means that coaches or parents are no longer responsible for keeping track of orders and payments, taking much of the stress out of selling team merchandise. Why You Should Consider a Team Store

First, team stores give you a place online to allow fans, parents, and players an opportunity to browse available items from their laptop, tablet, or even their cellphone. Orders are easy, your online store is secured, and all payments are handled online – via Wayne Sporting Goods. Once your online store is open, your potential customers can place their orders anytime night or day, any day of the week. This means even the busiest parents will have an opportunity to participate and place an order.

All you need to do is select your items, logos, and prices, then let Wayne Sporting Goods take care of the rest. We create the design of the online store, collect the orders, and handle the payments. You won’t have to handle checks or credit card information, make change for cash payments, or keep track of who has paid and who has not. We even package and label the orders for you to make things as easy as possible. If you like, we can ship orders directly to your customers.

When a customer places their order through the team store, they will automatically get an email confirmation showing all details of the order. Once the order is completed, each customer will get another email notifying them that the order is ready and is either available for pick up or has been shipped to their home. How to Setup a Team Store

The first step in setting up a team store is browsing our catalogs page to find the gear and products that best suit your needs. You can choose from brands like Under Armor, Nike, Holloway, Sport Tek, and Adidas. If you’re having trouble at any point, just give us a call.

Next, we’ll help you select which logo should go on each item. You can either send us your logo or we can design one for you. If desired, you can also add custom names and numbers to jerseys and other uniform pieces.

Once those details have been ironed out, the next task is to decide on prices. You can sell the items at your cost, or we can build in a profit for your organization. Quite a few teams that use our team stores will add a small amount on top of their team price to further support the team. For example, suppose a t-shirt with your team’s logo costs $10. You can add $5 to that item price, making it a total of $15 for customers. Then your team would make $5 for every t-shirt sold – so if you sell 100 t-shirts, your organization would make a $500 profit. The amount you charge is completely up to you.

After the items have been selected, logos added, and prices nailed down, the next tasks are our responsibility: we build your online team store, add your custom logo to your page, and set opening and closing dates for your store. During this period, it is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your members to select their items. We handle all orders and payments, and send receipts and confirmation emails to your customers.

Once the site closes, we deliver all orders within 4 weeks (barring any inventory issues from the manufacturers). You have three different options for delivery:

  • Customers can pick up their orders here at Wayne Sporting Goods
  • A team representative can pick up all the orders to distribute to the team
  • The orders can be shipped to the customers’ homes

Regardless of which option you choose, each order is individually bagged and labeled for easy identification. If you chose to make profits on the items, Wayne Sporting Goods will cut you a check for the proceeds from the store sales.
